Auckland Landscaping Services was established back in 1966 when (now Director) Chris Lane's Grandfather Alf, started the business as a manual / labour landscaping service, using rotary hoes, wheelbarrows, and shovels.
Alf’s children were always involved in the business, and as time passed, one of Alf’s son’s Gilbert, took over the ownership and running of the business, which was closely followed by Alf’s other son, Jack (current business partner). Together, Gilbert and Jack dedicated themselves and worked hard at moving the business from a landscaping service into an earthmoving business, with larger scale-machinery and trucks. |

Fast forward, Chris (Jack's son and the 3rd-generation owner of Auckland Landscaping Services), who has always had a passion for trucks and heavy machinery and spent many of his younger years on-site and in trucks with his father Jack and uncle Gilbert, has now been running the business successfully since the early 2000s.
Chris has updated the fleet of trucks and machinery and worked tirelessly at modernising the entire business. In addition, he provides invaluable guidance to his team and quality earthmoving services to every client, all whilst continuing to operate a successful business in its 3rd generation.
Chris has over 20 years of industry experience. After gaining his NZ Licences Class 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, with R.T.W endorsements, and a diploma in business at Auckland’s University of Technology, he has grown up alongside the business, working closely with his father Jack and uncle Gilbert to gain skill and take on responsibility.
Chris is an approachable, friendly guy who enjoys working with his wife, Emma (who is also part of the business) and his crew, being out in the field and getting involved in the entire process of each project/job. Chris has put in hard work, is dedicated to the business, and has been a big part of what has made Auckland Landscaping Services the successful business it is today.
